Email Outreach

Market-Vantage’s services mostly center around what we have described as PULL rather than PUSH marketing. In other words, we help companies take advantage of the buying momentum in a prospect, rather than try to find motivated prospects from a broad audience or create that buying momentum from scratch. However, we do offer one area of pro-active service that has proven effective in connecting with the relevant individual inside of a targeted organization.

We call this service Email Outreach. Email Outreach is targeted electronic communication whose purpose is to identify a specific individual within an organization and gauge their interest in the product or service being offered. It is based on our own proprietary methodology and has been employed successfully in a number of Business-to-Business initiatives over a period of almost 10 years.

Email Outreach has proven to be an effective prospecting method for many B2B situations but is particularly worthwhile when one or more of the following statements are true:

  • The product or service being offered is new and unique, so that there is little market awareness that it exists.

  • The company making the offer has little recognition in the market.

  • The decision-making individual within the target organization is hard to identify based on title.

  • The offer has a limited time horizon – for example, a new software product seeking beta testers or promotion of an upcoming event.

Email Outreach can be fast-acting and highly cost-effective as a prospecting method. Results are often apparent within a few days or weeks. Test marketing of your value proposition in order to incrementally improve your messaging is another potential benefit.
